Minos (Mythology): In Greek mythology, Minos was a legendary king of Crete, the son of Zeus and Europa. He was known for ruling Crete and constructing the Labyrinth, which housed the mythical creature known as the Minotaur. The Minotaur was a half-human, half-bull creature that was eventually slain by the hero Theseus.
