Aramis (Literary Character): Aramis is a fictional character from Alexandre Dumas’ famous novel “The Three Musketeers” (1844). He is one of the three musketeers along with Athos and Porthos, and also a close friend of the novel’s protagonist, d’Artagnan. Aramis is depicted as a skilled swordsman, a devout Catholic, and, at times, a would-be priest.
