“Naghshe Jahan” (also spelled “Naqsh-e Jahan”) is a historical and famous square located in Isfahan, Iran. The name “Naghshe Jahan” translates to “Pattern of the World” or “Image of the World” in Persian. The square is also known as “Imam Square” (Maidan-e Imam) and is one of the largest public squares in the world.
